From a 1995 episode of The Simpsons, during the week of November 23, the anniversary of the first broadcast episode of Doctor Who.

Another episode of The Simpsons later that season contained another Who reference. In the episode where Krusty the Clown goes bankrupt, there is a scene where the owner of the comic book store waddles by with a wheelbarrow full of tacos and says "this should provide adequite sustenance for the Doctor Who marathon."

Most recently, a third Doctor Who reference appeared on The Simpsons: in the episode where Homer fights the show's version of Mike Tyson (broadcast November 10, 1996, approximately two weeks before Doctor Who's thirty-third anniversary) there is a scene where Homer drags his family into a "gizmos and gadgets" store which has several display tables that all look like the TARDIS console.

I wonder who the Doctor Who fan is?
